Transcript
Panel 1. Five friends sit together at a restaurant table. From left to right: a bearded man says, “Agents save me hours every day.” P replies, “Same!” A woman with a ponytail adds, “Finally!” A woman with loose hair, round glasses and a hoodie says, “We’ve got time to spare!” A clean-shaven man with a buzz cut adds, “Me too!”
Panel 2. “EVERY DAY…” A single montage contains five compartments, three across the top and two below. P reads SYSTEM DESIGN, holding the book with both white cartoon gloves. The woman in glasses laughs at a cat video on TikTok while reclining in bed. “Just one more.” The man with a buzz cut does dumbbell curls at the gym. The ponytailed mother cradles her baby and feeds it with a bottle; the baby wears a bib with a star. The bearded man makes telephone calls and marks a calling list at a desk beneath a CAMPAIGN HQ sign and a VOTE poster.
Panel 3. “TWO YEARS LATER…” The same five friends reunite at the dinner table. The baby is now a toddler on the mother’s lap, still wearing the star motif. The bearded man tells P, “Head of Engineering! Congrats!” P replies, “Thanks Senator!” The mother turns toward the woman in glasses and asks, “Still scrolling?” The woman holds up a phone showing a page headed JOBS. “Yeah. Job listings now.” The man who exercised, now visibly fitter, smiles beside them.
